Principals - Middle School
Overview
Principals are directly supervised by and evaluated by the Superintendent.
Principals supervise assistant principals (where applicable), teachers, and classified staff, (who are assigned to the school) except those assigned to the cafeteria.
General Description
In accordance with the law and district policy, the Principal is responsible for administering the school through organization, scheduling, and supervision of the staff for purpose of promoting the academic welfare, health, and safety of students, maintaining good morale within the staff while ensuring appropriate care for the physical facilities.
Educational and Experience Requirements
Masters Degree in Administration, experi-ence as a teacher and administrator, and administrative certification.
Physical Demands of the position
This position requires a person that can lift 40 pounds.
Salary Schedule
Salary Range: $62,005 - 72,505
