Congratulations to Arizona Desert’s Teachers of the Year: In the Kinder to 3rd grade category- Mrs. Silva, second grade teacher, in the 4th – 6th grade category, Miss Ruiz, 4th grade teacher. Both ladies teach SEI students who are at a Basic to Intermediate level. In the category of Special Areas, Ms. Lowry, who teaches Special Education students in 5th and 6th grade has been named. Our school’s winners are chosen by their colleagues through voting. It is the opinion of Arizona Desert teachers that these three fine educators represent our school’s finest.
Felicidades a los Maestros del Año de Arizona Desert: En la categoria de Kinder a 3ro- Mrs. Silva, maestra de 2do, en la categoria de 4to – 6to, Miss Ruiz, maestra de 4to grado. Ambas maestras dan clases en un salon en el cual los alumnos estan categorizados de Basico a Intermedio en nivel de Ingles. Ms. Lowry es maestra de alumnos de Educacion Especial y ella representa la categoria de Areas Especializadas. Los ganadores son elegidos a traves de votacion entre colegas. Es la opinión del equipo docente de Arizona Desert que estas tres educadoras representen nuestra escuela.
